I think that everything posted made a great deal of sense. However, think about this, suppose you typed a catchier post title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a title to possibly get folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create article titles to get people to open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab readers excited about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would make your website a little livelier.
